Are you the person in your friend group who’s probably WAY too immersed in pop culture? Do you have every TikTok trend running through your mind 24/7? Are memes your second language? If so, you just might be perfect for our Social Media Associate role. This is an opportunity to ZHUZH and create organic content for our Instagram and TikTok alongside our founder. We’re looking for a creative savant to help brainstorm and plot silly TikToks and IG reels, who can write sassy captions in their sleep, and big bonus if you can design/edit. Dream job? We think so.
This role can be either part-time or full-time. Preferably LA based — we have an office in Manhattan Beach, where you can come in and shoot content with the team.
What You’ll Do
Create Engaging Content: Develop and produce original, engaging, and trend-savvy content for Instagram and TikTok.
Collaborate with the founder: Work closely with the founder to brainstorm, plan, and execute creative and humorous TikToks and IG reels.
Write Captions: Craft witty, sassy, and attention-grabbing captions that resonate with our audience.
Monitor Trends: Stay on top of the latest social media trends, challenges, and memes to ensure our content is always fresh and relevant.
Design and Edit: Utilize your design and editing skills to enhance visual content, including photos and videos.
Community Engagement: Interact with our followers, respond to comments, and build a strong online community.
Analytics and Reporting: Track the performance of social media posts and provide insights to optimize future content.
Shoot Content: Spearhead content shoots, whether in person or over video calls.
What You’ll Need
Creativity: A flair for creating compelling and humorous content that captures attention.
Pop Culture Savvy: An in-depth knowledge of current trends, memes, and social media culture.
Writing Skills: The ability to write sharp, sassy, and engaging captions effortlessly.
Design and Editing Proficiency: Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere) a big plus.
Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work closely with others, including the founder and the social media team.
Adaptability: Flexibility to contribute wherever necessary and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Experience: Previous experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field is a plus but not required. Passion, creativity, and humor are what we value most :)
